class discussion!

My opinion over our class discussion was that is was really interesting to see other peoples opinions over the senate bill 1070. I would of liked to speak up about my opinion over one of my classmates facts about how there is 20% in LA that are in poverty.I believe that they have a choice to be in those circumstances because they are citizens and have the right to get a job or have at least the chance to go and look for a job. But they rather live off of other peoples money and scraps. Unlike the immigrants that actually go and look for jobs. Think there is no crime in that and its unfair to criticise the immigrants when the homeless Americans cant get up and go out there looking for jobs. What i don't understand is why the police can remove an immigrant who is just selling and trying to get money,but they wont remove a homeless asking and taking money away from others. But that is just what i wanted to comment on during the discussion but it was pretty intense and good facts and arguments.

question of the week response

I’m against the immigration reform for many different reasons; to start off I believe that all of this is too harsh. All immigrants are being discriminated the wrong way because of the mafia’s actions. This has now made all illegal immigrants actions fall upon as criminals and to be feared. This is what has been the cause of racial profiling. But I believe that they are only coming to Arizona to have a job and to succeed in a way where they can have money to support there families in Mexico.(the website supporting this article is in the human trafficing )

bill 1070

http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/08/24/tuesday.primaries/index.html?iref=allsearch

With McCain as a winner in the senate as primary makes me think that now the bill of 1070 will be input and in progress even more than it already was. Believe this because he has been said that he was already supporting the bill to be in progress and for him to be a primary means that he will make it happen one way or another. This means to me that racial profiling with be enforced to and will be enforced without it needing to be said that it dose need to because the Arizona people are already fed up and just want the bill to go threw.
